Day 16

Early Morning For me today after long time..

Finally woke up at 5:00 am today and did my workout. It was great.
Did all the max counts for every exercise...Lunges were painful the moment i reach set 3. But, tried to push myself more and managed to complete it.. :)

Except Rowing nothing was relaxing. I was doing the Leg Ups Wrong till i saw video of Patrick, where he mentioned not to touch ur heels to the ground..
Dips were fine too..The new thing i saw, was push ups...because i was expecting standing ovation.
Push ups were better today rather than yesterday..I am doing it on my knees but finishing the full counts....

Rest, diet is going ok..
Difficulty will be from tomorrow. Kos and me are flying to Italy tomm for a week for our first wedding anniversary.. So, we are not sure how we will be able to manage our weighed food. We are takign our food scale along with us and will try to be on our diet, but salt will be an issue...

Terri and Fergie will help us guiding through this because they just came back from holiday..So, will surely take some tips from them ..:)

Rest, crappy day in HK today..It's raining and climate is so dull....

Have a great day ahead guys!!

  1. Good on you Mini for getting it all out of the way in the morning - and all the max counts as well! Excellent!

And Happy Anniversary to Kos and you...have a wonderful time in Italy. Personally I would leave the scales behind - I'm sorry but one can't go to Italy and not partake :) Sorry Patrick!

  2. I second Elaine; don't bring the scale! Sorry Patrick!!
Terri and I ordered mostly PCP friendly food. And we stopped when we felt full (we used to overeat all the time). But there is so much good food (and wine) you shouldn't miss out for your anniversary in Italy.

On the positive side, there are so much good and fresh ingredients for vegetables and fruits in Italy, and considerably cheaper than Hong Kong, the first stop you should make is the market or supermarket to load up on those for your snacks.

Don't forget to pack your jump rope and resistance bands and have a great trip!!!

E-mail Terri and I where you are going in Italy and we can pass on some good places to go to for food and other things...

  5. Happy anniversary! It's very cool that you guys are doing this journey together.

I believe that the dishes Italians themselves eat are way different to what is called Italian food outside - super cheesey and meaty pizzas are for people who like to eat...uh cheese and meat. You'll probably see a lot of scrummy veggies and meats. And my Japanese friend who is married to an Italian and live on a farm say that they eat a lot of pasta at lunch, fruit and cheese as snacks and a lighter dinner. Sounds PCP-ish (only without cheese).

I would go and enjoy it and make finding PCP compliant food a bit of a game. Stay engaged with the PCP as you'll only do this once in your life and you are still at a fairly early stage. That said, it's YOUR anniversary! Have a wonderful time.
